MCA Eligibility

GLA University offers admission into MCA course through GLAET entrance exam. Exam consists of MCQs and negative marking is also involved. It usually takes place between the months of April and July every year. Whereas Galgotias University gives admission into MCA course through CUET-PG exam. To be eligible, students must score at least 50% in UG degree.

The students looking to get admission into MCA course, must pass UG degree with at least 50% marks. It should be done from a recognised college. Students must have mathematics as one of the subjects in class 12. They also have to appear for GLA entrance test as a criteria for admission.

For MCA at LPU, you need a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with mathematics or statistics at 10+2 or graduation level. Candidates with a CS/IT background (like BCA or B.Sc CS/IT) are also eligible. Admission is through LPUNEST or other accepted entrance tests, followed by counselling. Candidates without prior maths or computer exposure may need bridge courses.

To get admission in Uttaranchal University MCA course, students must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. It is to pass BCA or BSc course during the UG level. Admissions are offered on the basis of merit. Whereas, in Graphic Era Hill University, the admission is done on the basis of CUET PG and UKSEE entrance exams.

The eligibility of getting admission in MCA at Graphic Era University Online is a UG degree. Students must have a graduation degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate, from a recognised university.

The students who have completed their UG course in BCA can apply for this course. They must complete the course from a recognised college. The minimum marks required for the general category students is 50% in BCA. The minimum marks for SC/ST is 45% to be eligible for admission. The students have to get a valid score in the entrance exam, which is CUET (earlier known as UPCET). Then, after clearing the exam, they must appear for a personal interview.

No, there is no reservation criteria for MCA course admission at IMS Noida. The students have equal chances irrespective of their category. This makes the admission process fair for all the students.
