Eligibility criteria for MCA at HNGU is Candidate must have completed B.C.A./ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree or passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B.Voc./ etc., ) preferably with Mathematics, Business Mathematics or statistics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level with above mentioned marks from any recognised Institute/University. For Jadavpur University MCA admission, aspirants should have a valid three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a UGC recognised institute/university with at least 60% aggregate (45% for SC/ST). The accepted UG courses are BSc in Computer Science, BSc (Hons) others, BA/BCom (Hons), BSc/BA/BCom - General, and BCA. It is also necessary that the candidate studied Mathematics at the UG level.

Those who are willing to get admission to a two-year PG course at KIET Ghaziabad are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place.  Candidates seeking admission to MCA at KIET must have passed their graduation in BCA/Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degreeordone a BSc/ BCom/ BA with Mathematics at Class 12 level at the graduation level (with at least 50% marks; 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the last qualifying examination.

The eligibility criteria differs from category to category for the general category you should atleast have 50% marks whereas for other reserved categories 45% marks in theirBachelorsdegree. The criteria might also change so it would better to check with the official website once.

To be eligible for MCA lateral entry course, you are generally required to have completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc. ) with Mathematics as a subject at the undergraduate level. Since you are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) with Computers, you may not be eligible for MCA lateral entry course as you do not have a relevant undergraduate degree. However, some universities may have different eligibility criteria, and it's best to check with the specific university where you wish to pursue the MCA course
