If you are technically oriented and want to specialize, you may opt for M.Tech after appearing in GATE exam before taking a job. If your programming skills are poor and you are not technically oriented you may opt for MBA to change your career to generic management stream.

If you are good in programming and technically oriented then go for MCA to become a software engineer else opt for MBA. An MBA graduate's starting salary is better but in the long run, both good MCA and MBA graduates get similar salary packages. Thank you.
