It is all about your interest. But, it is better, you should choose BCA MCA from PES University rather than doing B.Tech from an average colleges.
B.Tech will be better, only if you got good government colleges, otherwise you'll only spend without any good reward.
Your average placement will be around INR 3 lacs with any average colleges, and you have to spend around INR 5 lacs, but if you opt for BCA MCA, then within 5 year you'll get your Master's degree with INR 4 lacs average placement and your spend will around INR 3 lacs.

This would depend on your interest area and career aspirations. If you are keen on the technical side, MCA is better. However, if you want to move into the Non-Technical / operations /general management side then MBA is a better option.

No, you must clear the cut-off of NIT Calicut. Otherwise, you are not eligible to take admission.
Good luck.

Hey,
You can prepare for NIMCET. It is a Common Entrance National Level Test, conducted by any of the NITs, for admission in their MCA programme. It is the most preferable exam and the key to admission into NITs for MCA.
Good luck.

No, after BCA, you can take admission in MCA first year, not in the 2nd year (lateral entry). If you are interested to take admission in the 1st year of MCA then you can take admission.
