The MCC conducts around 4 to 5 rounds for NEET UG Counselling process for MBBS, BDS, BHMS and other seats. The rounds of NEET counselling depends on seat matrix and number of vacant seats.

The MCC started the registration for NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling on September 3. Candidates need to register at mcc.nic.in. The last date for registration is September 8.

Yes, you can get KMC mangalore under KEA counselling or MCC as 85% of its seat are filled through the KEA for candidates with Karnataka domicile, while the remaining 15% are filled through the MCC.

Yes, it is possible to participate in two state-level NEET counselling processes simultaneously. They may participate in the MCC NEET counselling or the national level counselling as well. However, once they are allotted a seat and they take admission, they will not be eligible to participate in other state or national level counselling processes. Moreover, if a candidate does not belong to a particular state, then he or she have to participate in NRI quota.

Yes, you will have to register again for Stray Vacancy round of NEET counselling.
For this year, the Stray Vacancy Round Choice Filling process is already closed.
Also, it is not always beneficial to wait for a stray vacancy.
As seats of most of the good colleges are allotted, maximum by the second round. And, the chances are very rare that you would get a decent college.

The MCC NEET UG counselling registration process is completely online. The step by step process to apply for NEET UG counselling is as follows:
- Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in
- Click on the 'New Registration' tab under the Candidate Activity Board section
- Click on the New Candidate Registration tab
- Read the instructions and click on 'I Agree' check box
- Enter the mandatory details such as NEET UG roll number, NEET UG application number, mother's name, date of birth and security pin
- Click on 'Submit'
- The credentials will be generated and sent to the registered email address
- Complete the registration form by entering persona
