MCKV Institute of Engineering

MCKV offers two UG and two PG courses in the stream of Management and Science. Admission to most of the courses at MCKV is both merit and entrance-based. For courses such as BTech, M.Tech and MBA, students are required to qualify for state/ national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MAT, CAT, GATE, WBU PGET, etc., where as for BBA course the admission is based on the previous merit peformance of candidates. 

For admission to M.Tech at MCKVIE, there is a selection process, which includes fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria, qualifying for the respective entrance exam and filling an application form. Those who want to apply for this course need to fill an online application form by visiting the official website of the institute. On the institute, fill the application form with all the appropriate details and submit the relevant document along with paying an adequate amount of application fee. 

Admissions for M.Tech at MCKV are entrance-based. In order to get admission to this course, students are required to qualify for state/ national-level GATE or WB PGET exam with a valid score. These entrance exams are particularly conducted for admission of candidates to PG level Engineering courses. 

MCKV offers a three-year BVoc course across three specialisations. These are Automotive Manufacturing Technology, Automobile Servicing and Software Development. This course is approved by AICTE and offered in affiliation with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT)

For admission to BVoc at MCKVIE, the minimum eligibility criteria is to either pass Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board or After 10 Diploma of 3 years or After 10 ITI of minimum of 2 years. Admission to this course is merit-based. Students are selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying exam. 

For admission to MBA at MCKVIE, there is a selection process, which includes fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria, qualifying for the respective entrance exam and filling an application form. In order to get admission to MBA at MCKV, the minimum eligibility is to Graduate with Statistics/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Computer Science from a recognised university, which is a mandatory step to clear before applying. Admission to MBA at MCKV is entrance-based. Those who want to get admission to this course are required to qualify for either CAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ JEMAT/ XAT entrance exams with a valid score. 

In order to get admission to BTech at MCKVIE, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Technical Vocational subjects (in both theory and practical) (40% aggregate for reserved category). Further, a 30% aggregate is also required in English from a recognised board. As per the next step, aspirants need to qualify for either JEE Main or WBJEE with a valid score.
