MCKV Institute of Engineering is moderately competitive in terms of pursuing a B.Tech. The process for getting admitted to the college mainly depends on WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or JEE Main scores, and one has to score within the cut-off for his desired branch. The academic load can be pretty demanding, but good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and industry exposure by the college ensure students succeed. It also depends on how devoted one is, how prepared and how interested he or she is in the subject matter.
