The Eligibility criteria for MBBS at Medical college of Kolkata is pretty much similar to other goverment medical colleges. The MBBS course seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-UG score and rank. Therefore, the candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG examination conducted by the NTA for the admissions for MBBS. After the NEET-UG results, the cutoff is released by the MCC or the Medical counselling committee based on various factors. Candidates who cleared the cutoff marks set by the college will be called for the admissions process. The cutoff differs each year. The candidates must have also secured a minimum of 50% in Physics

In respect of persons with disability candidates, the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be 45% in case of General Category and 40% in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. For admission to the BUMS course, the candidate shall have passed the 10th or 12th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as one of the subject, or shall have to study Urdu language along with Arabic and Mantiq wa Falsafa (Logic and Philososphy) as a subject during the First Professional BUMS course. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for theNational Eligibility Cum Entrance Test'. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, Hon'ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon'ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. The ACS is a private medical college thus, it does not demand much eligibility criteria though, there are some eligibillity criteria which must be fullfilled by the candidate.
Ensure that you fulfill each and every criteria:-
The canadidate must have cleare his/her 12th with atleast 50% marks with recognised board.
The candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and english in the 12th std.
The candidate must have cleared the NEET exam with atleat 50% marks. (for general category)
The candidate must be above 17 years during the time of admission.
The candidate who have pursue BSc degree with not less than two subjects of Physics,
