The Eligibility criteria for MBBS at Medical college of Kolkata is pretty much similar to other goverment medical colleges. The MBBS course seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-UG score and rank. Therefore, the candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG examination conducted by the NTA for the admissions for MBBS. After the NEET-UG results, the cutoff is released by the MCC or the Medical counselling committee based on various factors. The probability is low, but there are chances that you might get admission at the Medical college Kolkata.  590+ marks can get you a seat in the top colleges through state quota. The 480+ marks is a marginal score that has a chance to get you into the state quota. But if students get less than this, then they can get admission only in the private medical colleges. It is quite impressive if they get 400+ marks, considering the difficulty level of the examination. 

The admissions for the medical colleges also depend on the category candidates belong to. If the candidate belongs to OBC category and they get a score of 480 marks then you might not get a seat at any government medical college.
