Yes, the curriculum designed by ICFAI University Shillong for the BCom programme is credit-based. Each subject included in the course syllabus is allocated a certain credit. Students who pass the subject paper in end-semester examinations are awarded the respective credits. At the end of the programme, students must have attained a certain number of credits to get the degree.

ICFAI University Shillong has closed the BCom application portal for the academic year 2025. The deadline to submit the BCom application form was 24 Jul, 2025. Students who could not get admission or did not apply can wait for the next admission cycle to begin. The applications for next year are expected to be released in June 2026.
