No, admissions at College of Ayurved, Bharati Vidyapeeth are not merit-based. Students are selected strictly on an entrance basis. Interested students need to provide valid NEET/ AIAPGET score. Additionally, seat allotment is done via counselling conducted at the national-level. Aside from providing the entrance exam and appearing for counselling, students must also satisfy the admission criteria specified by the college.

Navrachana University offers Merit Scholarships to UG students based on their Class 12 merit. The scholarships are offered in the form of tuition fee waivers on a first-come, first-served basis. The percentage of tuition fee waiver provided to UG students based on their Class 12 is as follows:
- 90% and above in Class 12: 100% Scholarship
- 85% and above in Class 12: 50% Scholarship
- 80% and above in Class 12: 25% Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to one student per UG programme (in each of the three categories).
