Detailed JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Pattern. Marking Scheme All questions in Mathematics and Aptitude section have equal weightage I.e. 4 marks each. While questions based on drawing carry a total of 70 marks. Negative Marking For each incorrect answer, 1/4th mark of the total mark allotted will be deducted.

Hello Ajith, Once you get admission in lateral mode directly into second year of engineering of 4 years degree course, the syllabus, classes everything is same. In fact you join the students in second year who have already finished their first year in the college in the same course. Hence syllabus is exactly same as that for normal B.Tech. Of course, lateral entry syllabus is same as B.Tech for every branch.
