MFM Placement

The placement rates for the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) degree at NIFT are fairly impressive. Approximately 70-90% of students obtain placements. The highest packages available vary from INR 12-15 lakhs per annum, while the lowest ones are approximately INR 5-7 lakhs per year. Top recruiters include Adobe, TCS, Buttercup, Blackberry, Raymond, and Reliance, among others.

A total of 141 students were admitted to the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Srinagar in 2019–20 for a 2-year PG MFM degree, and 116 of them graduated in 2020–21. Of the 116 students, 28 chose to pursue further education, and 34 were placed with a median salary of INR 5.55 L. At the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Srinagar, 204 students were accepted for a two-year MFM programme in 2020–21; 187 of them graduated in 2021–22. Of the 187 students, 62 chose to pursue further education, and 58 were placed with a median income of INR 6.1 L.
