Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training is a new specialised navy academy established in 2018 by MIT ADT University in association with the Indian Navy. Admissions to the Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) are determined by UGC rules, AICTE regulations, and DG Shipping policies. Admission to the full-time MANET BTech (Marine Engineering), BTech (Lateral Entry), and BSc (Nautical Science) programs is determined by the results of the most recent qualifying exam and the IMUCET score. Both residential programs are available from MANET. All applicants must meet further physical, medical, age, and gender requirements in order to be admitted to the academy.
