As per the selection process of MPlan at MIT School of Architecture, students must get a UG degree in Architecture/ Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Technology and a PG degree in Geography or Sociology or Economics with a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.50 CGPA (5% relaxation for reserved category). Aspirants who apply with a valid score of GATE will be given preference. Non-GATE candidates can also apply via scores of PERA CET.

MIT School of Architecture offers a five-year UG-level course in BArch. To get admission to BArch course at MIT School of Architecture, students must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. The selection for this course is done based as per Council of Architecture (COA) Norms, New Delhi. Admission to this course is entrance-based.
