MIT WPU has a Career Development Center that takes care of training and securing career opportunities for students. The center trains the students in various areas like Personality Development, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Group Discussion techniques, etc. It invites companies from different sectors to conduct the placement process at the Campus premises.

As per the latest report, more than 730 recruiters visited MIT-WPU, Pune campus for 2025 placements and placed students with handsome packages. Earlier, over 600 recruiters participated during the 2024 placement drive.

A total of 2455 students have achieved placements in the academic year 2024-25. Earlier, 2,544 students of the batch 2024 registered for placements, of which 1,903 were placed in leading companies.

A total of 2455 students of the MIT-WPU, Pune batch 2025 have secured placement in more than 720 companies. The overall highest and average package secuerd by batch 2025 stood at INR 51.36 LPA and INR 6.23 LPA. The median salary was INR 5.50 LPA. Some of  the top recruiters include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Intel, Goldman Sachs, etc.

With 80.70 percentile in JEE Main, you have a good chance of getting B.Tech CSE at MIT-WPU, Pune. The university accepts JEE scores and also conducts MIT-WPU CET. Since CSE is highly competitive, early application or opting for related branches like CSE (AI/ML) or IT can improve your chances. Your score is eligible for merit-based admission, though cutoffs may vary yearly.

The latest cutoff information for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at MIT-WPU varies depending on the entrance exam and category. For MHT-CET, general category students typically need a percentile between 94 and 96. For JEE Main, a good percentile (around 90-95) improves the chances of admission. MIT-WPU also has management and supernumerary seats.
