MIT-WPU, Pune admission is based on both merit and entrance. The initial selection criteria includes Class 12 qualification for UG level course admissions. For PG level course admissions candidates needs to secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams depending on the course of choice.

As per the MIT-WPU, Pune course admission process, the university conducts MIT-WPU, Pune CET for admission to the UG and PG courses particularly. Apart from this, MIT-WPU, Pune admission is also done based on valid scores of national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MHT CET, PERA CET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and NEET-UG, among others for admission to BTech, MBA and BPharm courses. The common selection criteria for MIT-WPU, Pune admission comprise a Personal Interview (PI) round that evaluates the capabilities of the applicants. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to BBA Banking, Finance, and Insurance at the MIT-WPU, Pune are that candidates must have secured a minimum 50% aggregate in Class 12 or an equivalent examination with English as a subject in any stream (45% for reserved category candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only).
OR
Minimum 60% aggregate score in a three-year Diploma from any Government-approved Institution or equivalent with English as a subject.
OR
Minimum 60% aggregate score in Competency and Vocational Courses (MCVC) from any government-approved Institution or equivalent with English as a subject.

For the admission process of the BBA course at the MIT-WPU's Pune acceptance of CUET scores is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the university. Moreover, the college is affiliated with MIT WPU, and it accepts the entrance exam, MIT-WPU CET, for BBA courses. This entrance exam is conducted through MIT World Peace University, Pune.

The eligibility requirements to get the School of Business, MIT WPU, Pune BBA scholarship for Hospitality and Hotel Administration are slightly different from other BBA specialisations. For this course, the scholarships are offered on the basis of Class 10 & 12 scores.
