IKGPTU offers Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 3 fields (Operation Management, Finance and Marketing). The duration of the course is 2 years with the fees of almost 1 lac per year. However, students get placed in highly reputed companies like TCS, Bajaj Allianz, Insurance Dekho, Infosys and many more with an average package of 8 LPA. The University also organises Placement prepping programmes and various seminars that help the students to secure placements in such reputed companies.

As IKGPTU is a Premier State Government Institute, the fees (per semester) is on the medium side (Not too high, not too low) if we relate it to other colleges who offers courses in IT, Architecture and Planning etc. Per semester fee is around 52K and the course duration is 5 years (10 semesters). While taking admission into this, students have to pay approx.10K more which includes the Security and other charges. However, the University reserves the right to change the amount of fees. 

IKGPTU is the runned by the State Government of Punjab. It has various campuses all over Punjab. However, B.Arch is among the most pursued courses by students throughout. Though, it's average package for this programme is upto 7 - 8 lacs at Mohali Campus II and it can go upto 16.5 - 17 lacs per annum. 

Amity University Mohali offers a B.Tech in Civil Engineering. It is the programme which teaches students and give them broad exposure in engineering principles, with a basic focus on civil notion i.e., construction, water resource & structures. The curriculum has both theoretical and practical components with lab work as well fieldwork in special cases. The university offers modern infrastructure and facilities for majoring repositories of materials. 

PTU admission 2024-25 tentative last date to apply is 31 March 2024. IK Gujral Punjab Technical University has provided admission for UG, PG, and Diploma courses with specializations. Access is based on the entrance exam.

Yes it's little easy for getting admission in I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Mohali campus for admission in B.Tech but you should have cleared JEE Mains examination which is held by NTA every year twice.

If you have Punjab domicile then the average cutoff you have to clear is 50 percentile to get the admission in your preferred branch. For admission from All india quota, you have to get around 65 percentile marks to get admission in your preferred branch in Btech.

The course of MBA is of 3 years duration and examination occurrs semester wise and each semester is of around 6 months duration and University examination occurrs after each semester with practical examination.

For admission in UG courses at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Mohali campus average fees is as follows -

60,000 rupees per annum for B.Tech ( Bachelor of Technology) for Unreserved category 

70,000 rupees per year for BCA ( Bachelor of Computer application) for Unreserved categories.

While for the reserved category students, the average annual fees is 50 to 80 percent less than the normal average tuition fees for one year.
