The final resul for the MP Patwari exam is declared after the normalisation of the marks. It is done to match the difficulty level of the exam taken at different shifts. The normalisation formula is given below for the reference:

The benefit of question cancellation is given to every candidate wether they had raised their objections or not. For example. if the candidates have made 90 correct questions and 2 questions are cancelled due to any reason above then the calculation of the final percentage of the marks will be given by:
=> 90 X 100/100-2 = 90 X 100/98 = 91.83

No, there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. Candidates need to complete the MP Patwari exam in a combined duration of 3 hours (180 minutes) without any break. All the questions in Part A and Part B are compulsory. The medium of the MP Patwari question paper is in English & Hindi only. Candidates need to choose the medium carefully while filling out the MP Patwari application form. Each question carries one mark.
