It is considered one of the best engineering programs in the state of Gujarat.The most recent cutoff scores for GUJCET or JEE Main exam admission to Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda's B.Tech programme are determined by these tests. For various branches and candidate categories, there are different cutoff points. The overall cutoff for JEE Main was 37–21524 rank, and the overall cutoff for GUJCET was 523–6623 rank.

It depends on which course you are going to pursue. Being an alumni of MSU and now staying in Gandhinagar I also know about LD very well. You can't conclude which is better as both are holding their respective reputations. If you are going to study engineering then I would prefer MSU as such LD is now affiliated to GTU whereas MSU is still deemed university so learning would be better at MSU.

So placements at present are better in LD. But in the future you can’t predict what would happen so if you are near Vadodara go for MSU and if you are near Ahmedabad go for LD.

MSU Baroda accepts scores from Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to MBA programs. The cut-off trend for CMAT percentile is 80-90, which is a score of 150 or higher. Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission to MSU Baroda’s MBA programme is a minimum of 50% aggregate in undergraduate exams or equivalent from a recognised university with relevant subjects.
