For admission to the BTech degree program, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU Baroda) accepts marks from the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) and the JEE Mains entrance exams.Candidates must have passed or appeared in Class 12 or equivalent and majored in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.The overall cutoff for JEE-Main is  900037 - 900604 rank in 2023.

To be considered for admission, you must have completed class 12 in a relevant Science programme with a certain percentage as specified by the university. Your core subjects must have been Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The institution publishes a series of merit lists based on the 10+2 aggregate.

It's not necessary that  only CAT is required.Scores from mainstream management admission tests such as the mainstream Admission Test (CAT) may be considered. MSU Baroda, on the other hand, accepts the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) score for MBA admission. MSU's cut-off trend is a CMAT percentile of 80-90, which is a score of 150 or higher.MSU considers the both CAT and CMAT for the admissions.

For the B.E. / B.Tech course, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda demands a minimum of 65% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Students must also have a 10+2 passed  from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.The candidates should clear the entrance exam of the institution conducted by the institution.

The admissions process is merit-based.Candidates must take the university's entrance examination.Admission is granted based on their grades.Candidates must have finished their 10+2 with at least a 50% aggregate from a recognised board.The admission procedure concludes with document verification and payment of the admission fee.Therefore admission process is purely based on the merit of the candidates.

MSU is the best college in Gujarat for HR studies, according to many sources.It came in 24th place in the pharmacy category.Students from the faculty are placed well.

In terms of placements, the LD College of Engineering has a minor advantage over MSU The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.The difference in placements is not statistically significant.However, MSU outperforms the LD College of Engineering in terms of academics and curricula.MSU The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda got the highest package of the 4LPA in the year 2022.

There are certain Eligibility requirements for applying for the course:
The candidate must have passed the Central Board of Secondary Education's (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary test, or any exam that is equivalent and offered by any State Board. He/she needed to have gotten at least a 50% overall grade with English as a subject. The minimum aggregate is relaxed by 5% for all SC/ST candidates.

Boys: 7740 rupees; girls: 6540 rupees
