Yes, hostel is compulsory at MPSTME

1. The hostel is inside the campus. And is compulsory except the students who live nearby the campus i.e. the students from Shirpur or Dhule (40 kms away from Shirpur).
2.  you aren’t allowed to go out of campus on your wish. yes you will be allowed to go out 3–4 times a month that too for 2–3 hrs only.
3. The thinking of the whole staff (hostel staff) is very backwards. Especially in the girls hostel. Girls are not allowed to go outside the hostel after 9pm.

The college has a state of the art infrastructure and facilities. The college building has a total centralized AC system. Infrastructure is perfect and ultra modern, be it in classrooms, canteen, labs, everything.The canteen has very affordable and good quality food. Lack of sport center.
