The entrance test has two components:
1) General Awareness: This section will test whether the applicants are up to date with the news (national, international, business, sports, etc.).
2) Language Proficiency: This section will evaluate the language proficiency (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and writing) of the applicants.

So your course is BSC animation and the entrance exam will be starting from the first week of april but the course that you have chosen does not demand any entrance exam to pass you just have to enroll for the admission and you will get your course on the basis of your 12th percentage.

Yes, you can. Just make sure that you have deep interest and you join a good college. Some of the colleges are National Institute of Design, Frameboxx Animation and Visual Effects, Amity University. Keep a track of the application forms of the same.

After completing 12th (science), you can do B.Sc in animation. It includes all these subjects plus 2D, 3D, VFX, etc.

India has extremely big names in Animation as well as startup small companies. Animation has so many applications today that it is difficult to say an average salary. I personally know many students with great talent who started off with just 12,000 Rs in 2010 but are earning 1.5 lacs per month now. Animation is a career which has a very fast growth for the right talented people who are willing to work very hard in the work place.
