The BA degree in music exposes students not only to practical sessions but also to classroom sessions as well. By this study, students become very well aware on the theoretical and historical aspects of music. After the completion of education, it is not possible for everyone to get a job directly linked to music such as:
Performers
Educators
Songwriters
Conductors
Arrangers
Composers
Actors, etc.
Other career options for these graduates include those arising behind the scenes or in the business area of music. To create a career path in music the aspirant has to demonstrate their skills and accomplishments rather than mere course study. Alm

I can understand your situation. Since you are already in 12th and studying science, I would suggest you to first focus on studies and clear your 12th. Once you clear it, start searching for some good western music academies and earn a certification. It needs a lot of focus and efforts. Don't be in hurry as you have enough time to learn a lot. Give yourself enough training through part time trainer in your location or wherever possible. Don't leave your studies in mid.
