To improve competence in Engineering, MVSR Engineering College provides many scholarships to students. These include: Merit Scholarship varying between INR 25000 to INR 50000 per annum for the top 10% students of each branch, SC/ST Scholarship of INR 15000 to INR 30000 per annum to 100+ students, Minority Scholarship of INR 10000 to INR 20000 per annum to 50+ students, Alumni Scholarship of INR 5000 to INR 10000 per annum Also, there are Telangana Government Scholarships ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 per annum on behalf of 500+ students; 80 percent of students get the financial aid.

Tentative hostel charges at MVSR Engineering College differ with the type of hostels to be provided kind of arrangement. For the 3-sharing room, the fee is INR 60,000 a year, and for the 2-sharing room the fee is INR 75,000 a year. Single occupancy room is also there for INR 90,000 per annum. Besides this, the students are required to deposit INR 25000 per annum towards mess fees. It has separate hostels for boys and girls, so students of the college live comfortably and securely in the institution.
