In case, you don't get DY Patil, don't settle for some mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Generally, the architecture cut-off marks in Tamil Nadu are calculated by adding both boards and NATA exam marks together which is 200+200=400 marks, this cutoff varies from every year to year.

She surely will find a decent college with these marks. You can check the rank predictors and then do some research of colleges that fall under your daughter's rank category. She should be able to make it to a nice NIT, for sure.
