NATA is single window exam used for admissions to first year of 5-year B.Arch Degree course at all recognized institutions all over the country. It is a compulsory exam to do B.Arch from a recognised college.

Tha advantage that NATA gives you is that it is accepted throughout India in all architecture colleges.

Once you get your NATA score card, based on the ranking, government seats will be allotted. For private management seats, you can approach any college of your interest.

Hi,
I'll give you the difference between NATA and JEE: Both the exams share the similarity that is they both are conducted for the admissions to the 5 Year Bachelor of Architecture Course in the various colleges of India but the fact that makes them apart (dissimilarity, can also be termed as difference) is JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for the admission to the NITs and centrally funded colleges Across the nation and the NATA Exam is conducted for the admissions to the B.Arch colleges in India except NITs and centrally funded colleges. NATA is compulsory Exam conducted by the Council of Architecture and most of the institutes /colleges

You can search about different books for NATA. Actually from this year, NATA has made changes in their syllabus, maths is included and scoring process is also changed. I think you should read multiple writers book to score good marks.
