No, you cannot get direct admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme at NID Jorhat without giving an entrance exam, as stated on Shiksha.com.

NID Jorhat commenced the first batch of Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) in 2019. This batch is yet to pass out and hence the placements have not taken place. Keeping in mind the placement record of other NIDs, it would not be wrong to say that NID Jorhat placements will witness leading companies from the fashion industry to offer job opportunities to the talented pool of students.
