B.Des. in Communication Design at NID Assam is a 4 years course at the UG level. The course offers admission to 25 students. The total tuition fee for NID Assam B.Des. in Communication Design is INR 4.69 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 10,000 and a hostel fee of amount INR 1.83 Lakhs that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee.

DAT is a national-level exam conducted by NID in two stages, prelims and mains. Candidates who are shortlisted from the DAT will be invited to the DAT at NID Jorhat. There is no limit to the number of times a candidate can attempt the DAT.

According to the available data, National Institute of Design, Assam and NID Kurukshetra are both autonomous public design universities in India. NID is considered one of the premier institutes in design, founded in 1961, with extension campuses in Gandhinagar and Bengaluru. According to the available data, it is difficult to determine whether NID Bhopal is as good as National Institute of Design, Assam. For students in the General All India category, the course grade was 86.87. When comparing the NID Assam cutoff for 2023 with 2021, NID Jorhat observed a declining trend for B. Des, with the General All India category students' cutoff percentile falling from 86.87 in 2021 to 60.3 in 2023.

With a cutoff score of 65.8, the Open rank for BDes for the NID cutoff 2024 offered through NID DAT is projected to be approximately 47.

National Institute of Design Assam cutoff ois based on NID DAT entrance exam scores for admission to the B.Des course. NID Jorhat cutoff 2023 has been concluded. As per the NID Assam cutoff 2023, the last round cutoff percentile was 60.3 for the B.Des course. In 2021, the cutoff percentile for the B.Des course was 86.87 for the General All India category students. Comparing the NID Assam cutoff 2023 with 2021, NID Jorhat witnessed a decling trend for B.Des as the cutoff percentile decreased from 86.87 in 2021 to 60.3 in 2023 for the General All India category students.
