No, each aspirant can only submit 1 application for each category for NIFT Delhi admission. Submission of multiple applications is treated as violation of NTA guidelines. NTA cancels candidature entirely in case of multiple form submission.

No, NIFT Delhi does not accept offline application for admissions. Students have to complete the application process through the official sites only. NIFTEE applications have to be submitted at NTA site. The NIFT Delhi application form is also available online only.

Students have to submit some documents during NIFT Delhi admissions and applications. The general list is as below:

  • Class 10 marksheet/ Certificate
  • Class 12 marksheet & Certificate
  • Bachelors degree and marksheets -for PG courses
  • PG marksheet & Certificate - for PhD
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Passport size photograph
  • Scanned copy of signature
  • Caste/ Category Certificate - if applicable
  • PwD/ UDID Certificate - if applicable
  • Research Proposal - for PhD courses

No, it's not easy to get admission in NIFT Delhi. As per the multiple sources on web, the acceptance rate is between 13% and 15% for the Delhi campus. The closing cutoff for General Category for BDes Fashion Communication is 62. It is even more competitive for MDes. In 2026, the closing rank for MDes was 35. However, students with right preparation strategy can get a seat.

Yes, NIFT Delhi does have an entrance exam to shortlist students for admissions. The institute accepts NIFT Entrance Exam - NIFTEE. The test is conducted by NTA for admission to BDes, BFTech, MDes, MFTech, NLEA programmes. Students can check the institute's site to know more.

Yes, students can get admission in NIFT Delhi UG programmes after Class 12. Students have to apply and appear for the NIFTEE test. The final selection for BDes and BFTech programmes is based on the performance in the entrance test.

To get admission in NIFT Delhi, students have to check the eligibility first. Eligible students can then apply online. The institute selects students through an entrance basis only. Students have to appear for the NIFTEE and clear the other selection rounds. This includes counselling and interview. Selected students have to pay the admission fees to complete the process.
