Yes, NIFT Delhi provides PhD level courses in the fields of Design, Fashion Technology, and Managment related to textile, fashion, lifestyle, apparel, craft and any other related field. The PhD programme is offered in Full-time (3-5 years) as well as Part-time mode. The Part-time researchers can submit their thesis within 6 years, or in 4 years after the programme has started. The total tuition fee for PhD course stands at INR 2.79 lakh.

Yes, BDes fees increases on annual basis at NIFT Delhi. However, the increase is not done on a fixed rate. Each year's BDes tuition fees is charged in two semesterly installments which will have the same cost.

No processing charges will be deducted from BDes fees by NIFT Delhi before refunds are credited to candidates. This is because candidates do not receive refunds for registration fees paid to confirm their seat in NIFT Delhi BDes course. Registration fees acts as processing charges in casses where refunds are offered.

BDes admissions at NIFT Delhi are still ongoing for academic year 2026.

However, fresh applications to BDes courses have been closed for this year. Currently, admissions are in spot round allotment phase which is scheduled to continue until last week of July.

Yes, candidates can apply for National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi BDes admission before receiving their Class 12 board exam result.

Candidates can appear in NIFTEE at this point and also participate in counselling rounds. 

If selected, they will be granted provisional admission until final marksheet is submitted.

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi BDes eligibility criteria does not mention a minimum aggregate for Class 12 board exams. It only mentions that students must have studied five subjects in Class 12th when appearing for board exams.

Aspirants cannot study at NIFT Delhi for free. However, they can get concession fees by opting for NIFT Delhi scholarships. The institute provides scholarships to students based on their merit or gross family income. The total tuition fees is INR 6.2 lakh for PG and INR 13 lakh for UG courses.
