If you belong to the General category under the AI quota, admission to the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) course at NIFT Shilong is not possible with a cutoff rank of 800. In 2025, the maximum cutoff required was 532 till Round 3 for MFM admission among the students belonging to the General AI quota. However, a cutoff rank of 800 is a decent rank to get admission to the MFM course for students other than those in the general category. The NIFT Shillong cutoff 2026 has been released up to Round 4, wherein the closing rank for B.Des. in Textile Design was 4105 for students belonging to the General AI quota. Among the other programmes, the closing ranks varied across courses.
