As per the unofficial source, the National University of Singapore acceptance rate is 23%. The lower percentage shows that the university is extremely stringent during admission and is hard to get into NUS. Students must perform extremely well in academic as well as non-academic factors to increase their chances of selection. Some crucial factors include the rigor of secondary school records, class rank, academic GPA, recommendation, application essay, extracurricular activities, and more.

The National University of Singapore is better than IIT in terms of global rankings, academic excellence, learning experience, and excellent faculty. NUS is generally ranked among the top 20 universities globally, whereas IIT is ranked outside the top 100. However, some of the IITs ranked under 100 for subject-specific rankings.

IIT is a major famous in India for Engineering and Technology and provides excellent opportunities to students. On the other hand, NUS provides various exchange programs, focuses more on learning experience, and is inclined towards extracurricular activities. Both NUS and IIT have having good placement history.
