The National University of Singapore welcomes students belonging to diverse cultures and from various backgrounds. This also includes Indian students. However, Indian students must adhere to the listed specific requirements as mentioned by NUS: 

  • Certificate of completion of high school/ 12th Marksheet 

  • Good academic credentials in five subjects, including English 

  • Standardized Test (Only for State and other Boards, not applicable to Central and ISC Boards) 

Besides the aforementioned special requirements, prospective students are recommended to be informed of the basic requirements for NUS admissions.

Yes, Lee Kuan Yew, the former prime minister of Singapore is one of the illustrious members of the 370,000-strong National University of Singapore's alumni network. 

Lee served as the Primer Minister of the country between the years 1965-1990, as a senior minister between 1990-2004 & as a minister mentor during the years 2004-2011

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is an postgraduate school named in honour of Lee's contribution to the country's political system.

NUS has a very extensive alumni network comprising of about 370,00 members, scattered across the globe, making their contribution to respective industries, by utilising their talents & knowledge acquired over the duration of their studies at NUS.

As per data curated from the official university website, the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) is considered among the largest faculty members with a median annual intake of around 1,900 members.

The total student population at NUS comprises of around 6,000 (500 exchange students) UG students & 1,000 PG students.
