Events take place in two formats: External Events that are organised by a third party or an NUS Event that is conducted by the University itself.

The NUS Events can further be divided into: Ask Us Anything Sessions, Information Sessions, Masterclass sessions & Education Fair. These events happen on a monthly basis over the course of an academic year.

NUS Singapore celebrates its culture & heritage via a number of cultural events & student activities such as: Culture Night, Night Cycling, Inter-Block Games & Star 2 Burst.

These events create a celebratory environment full of dancing, singing & delicious food, some events also invite students from other regional universities.

Sumit Agarwal

Professor Agarwal is a notable member of the NUS Faculty. He is a professor of Economics & Real Estate at NUS.

Sumit has held a number of positons, as an professor notably working as a Professor of Finance at the business school of Georgetown University.

He's also an author & researcher having co-written six books & published one hundred & twenty-five articles on finance & economics.

He's also worked as an op-ed at prominent media outlets including CNA, CNBC, BBC & Fox & is currently working for Straits Times.

Christopher Montgomery

Chris Montgomery is a professor at the Business, Management & Organization department at NUS Singapore. He's previously worked as a Provost's Chair & as a Stephen Riady Professor in Singapore.

His research work focuses primarily on human sustainability with a focus on the relationship between sleep & work. Work/Life Conflict & Leadership are some other notable sectors of Professor Montgomery's research.

Chaitanhya Bandi

Professor Chaithanya is a Junior Associate Professor of Science & Mathematics at the National University of Singapore.

He's also an avid researcher with most of his works focusing on the problems associated with decision making under uncertainty, incomplete information & risk with applications to operation management.

Mainly his work is focused on developing Robust Optimisation models to formulate problems in applications involving: queue control, risk optimisation, online algorithms & mechanism design.
