After NBSAT result declaration, candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round. They will have to appear for the PI round on the given dates and submit Statement of Purpose (SOP). Post the PI round, all the candidates will be evaluated on their performance and overall academic profile. Those who shall pass the admission criteria will be offered admission.

Yes, it is mandatory to appear for the PI round of NBSAT as it is an essential part of selection process for MBA/PGDM courses. Merely scoring high in NBSAT will not be enough for admission. If a candidate shortlisted for NBSAT PI round does not appear for it, their candidature will be cancelled and the seat will be offered to the next candidate.

If you clear NBSAT exam but do not have the minimum marks in graduation, then you might not get selected for further admission round. To be eligible for admission to MBA/PGDM programme of NBS, meeting the minimum criteria for 60 percent marks in graduation is essential.

NBSAT is an easy exam. One can prepare for it with 3 to 6 months of preparation, depending upon their familiarity with NBSAT syllabus. Candidates from Engineering and Technical backgrounds will find it easy to cover Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation & Data Adequacy in less time than students from non-Engineering and non-Technical backgrounds.
