The cutoff for the NCHMCT JEE is different every year based on the difficulty level of the exam, the number of aspirants, and the number of seats available. For the 2024 session, the anticipated cutoff marks for premier Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) are around 600+ for the General category, 500-600 for OBC, 400-500 for SC, and 300-400 for ST categories. These are indicative values and may differ from year to year. For the most current and precise cutoff information, it is advisable to check the official NCHMCT website or directly contact the respective institutes for accurate details.

With an NCHMCT JEE rank of 5,377, you stand a fair chance of getting admission to a number of well-known IHMs. Although high-profile institutes such as IHM Pusa and IHM Mumbai tend to have higher cutoffs, you could get admission to institutes such as IHM Bhopal, IHM Jaipur, and IHM Gwalior, where last year's closing ranks were approximately 3,481, 2,783, and 5,103, respectively. Cutoffs differ every year depending on seat availability and category reservations. It is suggested to go for counseling, refer to official cutoff lists, and choose colleges as per that to get the best chances of getting a seat.

In the case of IHM Bangalore and its mention that NRI students can apply directly to the institute, it means that NRI candidates are not required to appear for the NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination). Instead, they can apply directly to the institute through a separate admission process set by the institution.
However, NRI students still need to meet the eligibility criteria and provide necessary documentation (like proof of NRI status and academic qualifications) to secure admission.

If you belong to the "Corona batch" of Class 10 with all pass results, you can fill marks in the NHCM JEE application form as shown below: Check the relevant option that indicates you belonged to the "Corona batch" of Class 10 (if available). In case there is an option for marks, do enter the subject-wise marks or total marks, in case you got a "pass" grade. If there is no proper option for the "Corona batch" students, then just give your overall pass status and mention it in the remarks, if applicable. In case, you are in doubt, call on the NHCM JEE helpline.

'A score of 500 in the NCHMCT JEE is seen as average. To get into the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration at SIHM Rohtak, you need to meet the yearly cut-off ranks, which change depending on things like the number of seats and how well applicants perform'.
For example, in 2024, the last round's closing rank for the General All India quota was 3,640, while in 2023, it was 9,776. Since the NCHMCT JEE is out of 800 marks, a score of 500 could place you within this rank range, possibly making you eligible for admission.

To get admission into the B.Sc programme at the Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata, candidates need to qualify the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) and meet the cutoff percentile set by the institute; the selection process is primarily based on the candidate's performance in the NCHMCT JEE followed by counseling based on their rank, with a minimum required percentile varying depending on the category, but generally needing a score above 50% for the general category to be considered for admission.
