Yes, the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing and accrediting hospitality and hotel management programs in India, including those offered by Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) like the one in Goa.
Institute of Hotel Management Goa, like other IHMs in India, is affiliated with and regulated by the NCHMCT. It all depends on the course you want to take at this institute. Since IHM Kolkata is a reputed institute, they have a limited number of seats in courses like B.Sc. So in courses like B.Sc, you have to appear for the NCHMCT JEE. Meanwhile, for certification courses and diploma courses, you don't have to give NCHMCT JEE. You just need to fill out the form and then apply for the entrance exam organised by the institute itself.
