The admission process for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Chennai is determined by the NCHMCT JEE exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The final selection for IHM Chennai is based on the NCHMCT JEE scores and the subsequent counseling rounds, which concluded after four rounds. In the 2023 admission cycle, the closing rank for B.Sc. courses at IHM Chennai was 3258 in Round 1 and 9656 in the last round of seat allotment. It all depends on the course you want to take at this institute. Since IHM Kolkata is a reputed institute, they have a limited number of seats in courses like B.Sc. So in courses like B.Sc, you have to appear for the NCHMCT JEE. Meanwhile, for certification courses and diploma courses, you don't have to give NCHMCT JEE. You just need to fill out the form and then apply for the entrance exam organised by the institute itself.
