The two main factors determining eligibility for the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam are age and educational background. Candidates for NDA 2 2024 must be at least the following age:
Age:The qualifying period for candidates is from January 2, 2006, to January 1, 2009.
Applicants born in October 2005 would not be able to apply for the NDA 2 2024 exam because they are outside of this age range. This is due to the fact that they would be too old to fulfill the examination cycle's age restrictions.

The NDA 1 cutoff in 2022 was 720 for the final selection and 360 for the written exam (with at least 25 percent of the possible points in each topic). The NDA 1 Cut Off 2023 is 301 out of 1800 for the written exam, with at least 25% of the marks in each subject. Of those marks, 664 are obtained by the last recommended applicant (Final Stage) out of 1800. The National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is notoriously difficult, with a scant 0.1% of candidates passing it. This implies that applicants may need to make several tries before they succeed. There will be 900 marks for the NDA written exam and 900 marks for the NDA SSB.
