In NEET exam conducted in the year 2022, cutoff marks of ST category for admission to first government college will be 137 and for first private college will be 107. But, cutoff marks differ from state to state and college to college. You may get through a government college for MBBS or BDS in Uttar Pradesh with 462 NEET-UG 2024 update and marks and category rank 125740. If you are an OBC-NCL candidate, then you shall be in for the seats offered for other backward castes. As per the NEET cutoff 2022, the candidate having 617 marks can get All India Rank between 30000 to 40000. You didn't mention your home state but you scored 292 in NEET and comes under SC category You have reasonable chances to get a college for MBBS. From the NEET counselling of 2022 the cutoffs for SC category were in the range of 260 – 300 for government college. They do not exceed this range of score, and your score is included in this bracket. Around 90,000 MBBS seats are available in India of which about 15 percent are filled under the SC quota. Sorry, there is no any chances of getting any college with such rank or marks, now even you can't claim to change or update after declaration of result.So I personally suggest you go for next year and please make sure you are filling right details and also try to improve your marks .Then you will get desire colleges .
