The cutoff for NEET is released along with the result or the scorecard. The NEET cutoff or qualifying marks vary for each category, which are General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD/PH. Along with candidates' scores, percentiles and All India Rank (AIR), NTA also indicates the Qualifying Status of candidates in the scorecard. No, you cannot participate in any counselling process if you do not qualify for the NEET 2025 cutoff criteria.  Candidates from the General category should get the NEET cutoff marks to be eligible for the NEET AYUSH counselling. To participate in the counselling of AYUSH UG course, a candidate has to meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • He/she must have qualified NEET 2025
  • He/she must be at least 17 years old as on December 21, 2025
  • He/she must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects
