No, you cannot participate in any counselling process if you do not qualify for the NEET 2025 cutoff criteria. Candidates from the General category should get the NEET cutoff marks to be eligible for the NEET AYUSH counselling. To participate in the counselling of AYUSH UG course, a candidate has to meet the following eligibility requirements:

The qualifying NEET 2025 cutoff marks for General category candidates is 144. Last year it was 162. As expected, the NEET 2025 cutoff for General category candidates is lower than last year. The reason is, the difficulty level of NEET was tougher this year as compared to last year. The competition level has become even higher, along with the increase in the number of seats.

The official NEET 2025 cutoff is released by NTA along with the NEET 2025 result, which has been released on June 14, 2025. The NEET 2025 cutoff or the qualifying score for each candidate category is mentioned on the NEET 2025 scorecard. The NEET cutoff refers to the minimum score a candidate has to obtain to qualify for the NEET counselling process. The NEET cutoff 2025 decreased from that of last year as the difficulty level of the exam was higher and thenumber of test takers was lower.
