While filling the NEET MDS application form, there is a step wherein candidates' realtime photograph has to be clicked through the web camera of the computer used for filling the form. The guidelines for taking this photograph are as follows:
- Confirm that the computer system has a functional built-in camera
- Dress up in formal attire
- Stand or sit against a white background
- There should be a bright light falling on the face of the candidate, but not on the web camera
- The image must not include other objects or additional people. Ensure that you are only one person in picture
- The image must contain the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders of th

It is not recommended to filll the NEET MDS application form on mobile phone. Though it is technically possible, but there may be other problems regarding file upload or fee payment when one fill the form on the phone. This might disturb the complete process. Candidates should try to fill the NEET MDS form on their desktop or laptop.

While all dental colleges across India accept NEET MDS scores, AIIMS Delhi, or other AIIMS campuses offering MDS course do not accept NEET MDS scores. Hence, MDS aspirants planning to take admission to AIIMS colleges have to appear for INI CET (MDS) exam. On the other hand, candidates are advised to prepare and appear for NEET MDS entrance exam to amplify their chances of admission.

Yes, NEET MDS 2025 exam was postponed from the orginal schedule. NEET MDS 2025 exam was scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2025, but it did not take place. The NEET MDS 2025 exam was conducted on April 19, 2025. The application process was conducted from February 18 to March 10, 2025. Later on, the BDS internship cutoff date was extended from March 31, 2025, to June 30, 2025. To allow the newly eligible candidates to register, NBEMS reopened the NEET MDS 2025 application window from April 3 to April 6, 2025.

The NEET MDS 2025 exam was of Moderate level. There were a few repeated questions, which made it easier for candidates who practiced previous years' question papers. Candidates who appeared for the exam in 2024 also found the exam easier.

The NEET MDS exam has objective-type multiple-choice questions equally distributed from the syllabus. According to the test-takers, topics from which maximum questions are asked include Oral Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and Clinical subjects. Some students, who had appeared for last year's NEET MDS exam, said that some questions from last year were repeated this year, including the answer choices. The Clinical questions were lengthy and tricky.

Yenepoya Dental College accepts NEET MDS entrance exam scores, followed by the MCC NEET MDS counselling process for MDS admission. As per the cut-off for the last counselling round conducted in 2024, the closing rank for MDS courses ranged between 3,277 and 22,798 for the General AI category candidates. As per the NEET MDS analysis of previous years', the topics or subjects which have a higher difficulty level as compared to the others are Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology, and Oral Medicine and Radiology. The weightage of these topics were also higher than other topics. According to the students, the number of image-based questions was higher as compared to last year. Moreover, the theoretical questions were tricky in nature, and not direct.

The difficulty level of NEET MDS exam is generally moderate. According to the student reactions shared with Shiksha.com, the NEET MDS 2025 was easier than that of the previous year.
