Yenepoya Dental College accepts NEET MDS entrance exam scores, followed by the MCC NEET MDS counselling process for MDS admission. As per the cut-off for the last counselling round conducted in 2024, the closing rank for MDS courses ranged between 3,277 and 22,798 for the General AI category candidates. Candidates can refer to the table below to check out the NEET MDS last round cut-off for some MDS specialisations offered at Yenepoya Dental College:

As per the NEET MDS analysis of previous years', the topics or subjects which have a higher difficulty level as compared to the others are Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology, and Oral Medicine and Radiology. The weightage of these topics were also higher than other topics. According to the students, the number of image-based questions was higher as compared to last year. Moreover, the theoretical questions were tricky in nature, and not direct.

The difficulty level of NEET MDS exam is generally moderate. According to the student reactions shared with Shiksha.com, the NEET MDS 2025 was easier than that of the previous year.

To get admission into MDS courses at BHU via NEET MDS, a candidate must have attained a valid rank as per the cutoff list for their particular category. The highest cutoff rank was 34 for the General AI category. Hence, students who belong to this category need to attain a rank of at least 34 to be considered for admission.

No, the NEET MDS cutoff varies each year. While the cutoff percentile is the same every year, the score varies. Moreover, in the last three years, the NEET MDS cutoff was reduced as per the recommendation of the Ministry of Health. The NEET MDS 2025 cutoff has been reduced by the Ministry of Health by 19.863 percentile for each category.

Yes NEET and NEET MDS are different and conducted for different purposes.
Talking about NEET/ NEET UG, it is for undergraduate students who are willing to enroll for medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and many more. The eligibility criteria for it is you have to pass class 12 with physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50-55%.
And talking about NEET MDS, it is for postgraduate students who are graduated with BDS degree.

The NEET MDS counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee for All India Quota seats. The counselling process is completely online, except for the final stage, which is the institute reporting process, which requires physical verification. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) releases the NEET MDS result and the scorecard on different days. While on the day of the result, NBE releases the merit list wherein the list of test takers along with their total marks obtained and All India Rank (AIR) is provided, the scorecard is released within a week to 10 days which candidates have to download by logging in to the official website with their registration credentials.

Till now ESIC Dental College in Gulbarga, Karnataka, offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course with an annual intake of 62 seats. Currently the college does not offer any Master of Dental surgery (MDS) course. There is no public announcement and information regarding introduction of MDS seats in the college. For most accurate information, I will advise to contact the college administration directly or you can visit there if possible.

NEET MDS admit card is released by the National Board on Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in online mode only. Hence, eligible candidates have to download the NEET MDS admit card in online mode by visiting the official website. Requesting NBEMS for sending the NEET MDS admit card post will be of no avail.
