Yes. Candidates will have to declare preferences of choices for each round of NEET PG counselling after registration. It must be noted registration and choices can be declared online. At the same time, choices must be locked in the given deadline otherwise it gets locked automatically. Based on declared choices, seat availablity, NEET PG rank, seats will be allotted.

Yes. If you will be allotted seat in round-2 NEET PG counselling, your round-1 allotted seat will be automatically get cancelled. In case you don't get allotted seat in round-2, then round-1 seat will not be cancelled. Candidates have to register online and declare preferences of choice for NEET PG counselling. It must be noted, MCC conducts counselling for allotment of 50% AIQ seats.

Bihar NEET PG counselling is held by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinaion Board. More accuratly, the whole seat allocation process is held by Post Graduate Medical Admission Council (PGMAC). The counselling is held online for admission to postgraduate medical courses across medical college in Bihar. Candidates have to register online and submit application form for Bihar NEET PG counselling.

The list of important documents for TN NEET PG counselling are mentioned below:
- NEET PG admit card
- NEET PG scorecard
- MBBS Degree Certificate and Diploma Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate
- Permanent/provisional medical registration certificate issued by the MCI/SMC

Registration and choice filling for special stray vacancy round NEET PG 2024 counselling began on March 6, 2025. The last date for registration and was March 8, 2025. Choices had to be declared till March 10, 2025. Candidates have to declare fresh choices for stray vacancy round. Those who are not holding any seat or didn't participate in previous three rounds are elligible to register for stray vacancy round NEET PG 2024 counselling. Seat allotment result for special stray vacancy round NEET PG 2024 counselling was announced on March 12, 2025.

State agencies conduct counselling for 50% quota seats. Rest 50% seats are allotted through All India Quota which is conducted by Medical counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates do have to fill application form to become elligible for state counselling process. State counselling bodies release counselling dates and schedule for seat allotment.
