Majority programs offered by NYIT are taught in English. If you are international student whose first language is not English then you are required to prove proficiency in English language. University accepts all major English language test scores as proof of proficiency. Min English language requirements for international students are IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 79, PTE 53 and DET 105.

I think you did not go through the university website properly as all the information is clearly mentioned on the website. NYIT offer BS in ECE and mechanical engineering, there is no B.Tech abroad, the program page mentions the SAT score is required. For international students whose first language is not English, you must take TOEFL exam. This is what they say 'If you graduated from a US high school or with a four-year Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited United States institution, then you do not need to take the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE exam. '
