Yes, students applying for bachelor's courses must pay the Newcastle University application fee when applying through UCAS. Whereas, the university does not charge any application fee for postgraduate courses.

For the academic-year 2025, all the undergraduates are required to pay GBP 28.50 (INR 3.1 K). Candidates can pay this amount through card. In case the applicant's card is not registered for online payments, they will have to contact their bank to get their card registered.

Note: Students can choose up to five institutions or courses to apply to when applying through UCAS.

Conversion Rate: 1 GBP = INR 108.85

Yes, Newcastle University England permits international students to work while studying. Overseas students must be mindful of the fact that they can work no more than 20 hours per week while classes are in session. However, they can work full-time work during vacations/holidays.

Students must keep in mind that they cannot work more hours than allowed under their visa conditions or beyond the expiry of their visa. Also, postgraduate-taught students in their final year are in term time during the summer vacation. Hence, they can work a maximum of 20 hours per week during this time.
