The University of Newcastle provides an MS in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence that teaches students the foundational courses in Statistics, machine learning, and industry collaboration. The programme is divided into two major streams, namely: Computational Intelligence, which includes data mining and machine learnin, g and Health Data Analysis, which includes Biostatistics and Medical statistics. Graduates from these programs are well prepared for roles such as Data Scientist, AI or Machine Learning Specialists, Health Data Analyst, and Business Analyst.  The average salary of these graduates is around AUD 107,500. The University of Newcastle does not charge an application fee that students are supposed to pay while applying to the university. Applicants must simply meet the basic eligibility criteria as per their programs, which include meeting the academic requirements of a high school graduation for UG programs and a bachelor's degree from a recognised university for a PG prorgams. Applicants also need to meet the English language proficiency requirements as per their program. Further, submission of admission-related documents is mandatory.
