As per the US News and World Report rankings 2024, Newcastle University experienced a slight reduction in the rankings. The university was ranked at #156 (2023), which has reduced to #159. On the other hand, the university also improved its rankings as per other ranking bodies. The university was ranked at #67 which has improved to #63 according to 'The Guardian Rankings 2025'.
