Polaris and Newton are not college and university itself, neither are they affiliated to any university as a college. They just "partner" with institutions to provide B.Tech degrees. These institutions mostly not well known universities with no legacy and ranking, like Madhavi, Rishihood, which are looking for a new stream of revenue for themselves. The partnership comes with trade offs and limitations, and they are bound to follow the same prescribed curriculum and rules of UGC and AICTE to function legally.

To be eligible for Newton School of Technology application process 2026 students must be 12th grade students in 2024, 2025 or 2026 with minimum 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
